Billing in Advanced - Non-Prorate

This article covers what happens when a license is increased or decreased for advanced non-prorate billing in your PSA.

License Quantity Increase

Main quantity is updated immediately to the current license count.

Example:

At the start of the month, the customer is billed for 12 licenses for their expected usage of the coming month (billing in advance).

On the 10th of the month, the licenses are increased from 12 to 13 licenses.

The license total increases to 13 licenses immediately.

License Quantity Decrease

Main quantity is updated at the end of the month to the current license count.

Example:

At the start of the month, the customer is billed for 12 licenses for their expected usage of the coming month (billing in advance).

On the 20th of the month, the licenses are decreased from 12 to 11 licenses.

The license total stays at 12, and at the end of the month, it is updated to 11 licenses.
